This is something car companies should definitely research. Mitsubishi Motors has developed a car interior which uses materials such as bamboo fiber and plant based resin, polybutylene succinate (PBS). This definitely helps reduce CO2 emissions and are dependence on plastics. We do need fuel efficient vehicles but we also need a car that is made out of materials that can be recycled and are renewable.
