Currently there is speculation that Honda is planning on producing a hybrid Fit subcompact model which will come with a 1.0 litre engine, with 60 mpg. Honda plans on launching the hybrid Fit in mid 2007. The conventional engine model is priced at about 13K, so the the hybrid model will probably cost about 20K (approx.).
